LCG Reminds Citizens of City and Parish Property Tax Payment Locations

As residents head out to pay their annual property taxes, Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) reminds those who wish to pay in-person where to pay Lafayette City and Parish property taxes. 

City property tax bills can be paid in-person at the LUS Customer Service Center located at 1875 West Pinhook Road, Suite B. The center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Cash, check or money order are accepted at the center and checks should be made payable to Lafayette Consolidated Government. City property taxes may also be mailed to Lafayette Consolidated Government, P.O. Box 4024, Lafayette, LA 70502.

Parish property tax bills can be paid in-person at the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Tax Department located at 1010 Lafayette Street on the fourth floor. The Tax Department is open for tax payment Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. Parish property taxes can also be paid online at https://www.lafayettesheriff.com/site351.php or via mail at LPSO Tax Department, P.O. 92590, Lafayette, LA 70509.

Residents with questions concerning their Parish property tax bill should call (337) 236-5880. Questions regarding property assessment value should be directed to the Lafayette Parish Assessor’s Office at (337) 291-7080.

Property tax payments are NOT accepted at Lafayette City-Parish Hall as the LUS payment center is no longer at this location. The LUS Customer Service Center on Moss Street does NOT accept tax payments.
