AOC’s Studio Tours include:

  • A guided walkthrough tour of AOC studios

  • An engaging overview of community media history in Acadiana

  • Basic media literacy training for your group of students

AOC’s Guided Productions are perfect for classes seeking to deliver a presentation or report using digital media. These sessions include:

  • Guided hands-on instruction to produce a video or audio project using AOC’s studios

  • An overview of studio safety and safe handling of production gear

AOC’s Intro to Field Production (On-Site) includes:

  • An introductory course covering basic field gear and production techniques to produce a video project

  • Hands-on guidance and instruction to learn and practice basic video composition techniques using AOC’s gear

Green Screen Classroom Studio (On-Site) includes:

  • A basic overview of the historical and modern-day role of green screen chroma key technology in media production

  • Guided instruction to produce a green-screen video project (can be customized to supplement your classroom lessons & curriculum)

High school students took over AOC for the day, managing all the directing and camera operations for a mock news program.

Middle school students loved getting hands-on with our Backpack Media Journalism kits!

Lafayette Public Library

AOC stopped by local library branches across Lafayette Parish to host summer media production workshops for local teens, from audio & sound production to stop motion animation.

Gifted students at Broodmoor had a blast building sets and producing their own animated video short films.

Stephensville Elementary

These bright elementary students learned the ins and outs of television media and even filmed their own newscast production.

UL Lafayette Department of Communication

UL students did a phenomenal job producing a semester-long television news series.
