Robideaux Seeks Candidates for Information Services & Technology Director

Lafayette Mayor-President Joel Robideaux is seeking resumes from qualified candidates interested in serving as the permanent Director of Lafayette Consolidated Government’s (LCG) Information Services and Technology (IS&T) Department.

The Director of IS&T, also titled Chief Information Officer (CIO), oversees 30+ employees and a $9.7 million budget which provides enterprise technology services across LCG. General responsibilities of the Director include improving technology to build higher quality constituent services and leading the efforts to modernize legacy systems, while implementing current and emerging technology. The Director plays an integral role in the direction and development of short- and long-term technology plans, including LCG’s Strategic Roadmap.

The department is dedicated to implementing secure and reliable solutions to enhance LCG’s ability to effectively serve citizens and improve the quality of life. Department-wide goals include providing automation, infrastructure, software, website presence, security policies and user support for the efficient operation of LCG.
