Azalea Trail Bike and Classic Car Cruise

The “Azalea Trail Bike and Classic Car Cruise” will meander through Lafayette’s historic neighborhoods on the afternoon of Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 1 to 3 pm.

Presenting sponsors, TRAIL (which stands for Transportation, Recreation Alternatives in Louisiana) and Scenic Lafayette are partnering to enjoy the beautiful bloom season along Lafayette’s 1930’s Historic Azalea Trail.

The event’s main purpose is to raise awareness about the cultural and economic value of Lafayette’s natural and built beauty. Funds raised will support more trail and city-wide azalea plantings and will strengthen recreational opportunities within the city.

Registration includes food, drinks and free admission to the Hilliard Museum. Wonderful prizes for best vintage costume and best azalea display will be awarded.

Car cruise is sheriff escorted. Bike helmets required. Child’s bike registration is free. Come rain or shine.
